About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to provide our visitors with immersive and engaging experiences at Martin Mere during the school holidays. This includes stepping back in time and leading activities at our Mere Tun Viking Village, undertaking science shows and providing dragonfly themed activities as part of our Dragonfly Festival in Summer. 
 
Initially, the role will offer working hours throughout October half term from 24 October to 1 November, with options for further opportunities during February half term, Easter holidays, May half term and the Summer holidays 2027. 
 
This is a casual position where hours are offered on an ad hoc basis. Candidates will need to be willing to work some weekends, bank holidays and during school holidays.

About You

We are looking for an individual who has experience working in a visitor attraction or similar customer focused operation, the ability to work with people of all ages and proven experience of performing to groups. The role will allow you to be creative and contribute to the development of the activities being undertaken, whilst also interacting with our visitors and supporters in a positive way, shaping unforgettable experiences and helping them understand and connect to wetlands. 
 
Full training will be provided as part of this role.
